Adding Safety Certificates
One of the main features of Landlord Vision is the ability to track the expiry dates of all of your safety certificates and get notifications before they expire so you can keep on top of what's going on and not fall behind. Here is a guide for adding your safety certificates to the software.
Firstly, create a property
Once you have set up a property, go to Property Manager > Properties > open the property and go to the Safety Certificates and Insurances tab.
Click Add Safety Certificate.
Record the details including the Contact who issued the certificate, the Expiry Date and an Early Warning date.
If you have EPCs, fire safety checks or other certificates you want to add, use the Add New Type at the bottom of the Certificate Type dropdown box to include these.
The system will notify you via the Portfolio Dashboard, the Calendar and by email when a certificate reaches the Early Warning date. Please note that you will only receive an email if you have set these up in Settings > Email Notifications.
You can even upload a copy of the document for future reference.
The same principle applies for insurances, which are also found on the Safety Certificates and Insurances tab and also Warranties, which can be found on the White/Brown Goods tab, also within the Property.
