ability to copy/duplicate journal entrys

I have a repeating journal entry that would be easier to copy/duplicate a previous entry and modify the amounts,

Same here.  I have many of these each month.  A 'copy/duplicate' function on expenses would be ideal (also on tenancy contracts,as many of mine are very similar...)

Defiantly a must for me.

If we could copy journals and create journal templates , it would be amazing for me.

It will be really time saving if you add following two functions,

1) copy journal

2) Add repeating journal something similar to "Add repeating expenses" functionality

Maybe this is also what I meant here...

Thank you to everyone who has voted and commented on this feature so far

Just to let you know that we have released some features that will help speed along some of these processes.  You can find both of these on the More Options menu on the Reconcile page

1) Delete. Completely remove a transaction without having to look for it on the Bank Statements page

2) Ignore. Writes a journal entry to Account Manager > Journals and clears the transaction from the Reconcile page. The transaction will show as 'Ignored' rather than Reconciled, but your Account Balance will be updated

I recognise that this does not resolve all issues, particularly those in relation to bank transfers into and out of the portfolio, so I will leave this request open for now

Dear Roy,

Please may I resurrect the request for Repeating Journals facility (similar to Add Repeating Expenses).

This has been a long-standing request and will greatly enhance my monthly process flows.

Unfortunately "ignore" from bank reconciliation does not resolve for me.

Hello

We have now implemented a copy journal facility.  Head to Account Manager > Journals and look for the Copy Journal button in the top right-hand corner of the page.  Press this and the software will raise another identical journal, you only need to add the date

Further to my message from a week ago, it is now possible to set up repeating journals in the same way as repeating expenses and repeating incomes.  Head to Account Manager > Journals > Add Repeating Journal to set this up.
