Compliance checklist for setting up new tenancies

It would be very useful to have a 'Compliance checklist' when setting up new tenancies, to ensure all appropriate information has been provided to the tenants at the outset of the tenancy, this could be done on a traffic light system, i.e. red, amber & green. Green indicating that all appropriate information has been sent to the tenant, and therefore the landlord is in compliance with their legal requirements.

This can be extended to the property itself, so you have a list of certs you need, Gas, Elec etc.  Handy when you are to the point of knowing the property purchase is going to happen so you can quickly see what is still outstanding to get the property ready for rental.

this would create a very streamline system for us to follow instead of creating a process checklist external to LV.

I’ve only just started to use LV so apologies if this feature is already added but I think the Compliance Checklist is great idea. I currently use a form created by NRLA which I issue to with new tenancies and it includes a list of all the legal compliances items which are to be provided/present in the property. The tenant signs this form to say they are and I have proof should there be a dispute. Something created automatically within the welcome pack which can then be returned (electronically signed by the tenants) and attached to the tenancy on LV would be amazing.
