Ability to delete sent emails plus greater email functionality.

Dear Technical team

Currently it is not possible to delete a sent email. This causes/will cause a great number of emails to be stuck in the sent folder. It would seem appropriate to be able to manage and sort [delete] sent emails, and file them in folders if desired. Additionally it would be useful to see how much space on the server they occupy. Adding at least a delete function would enable the user to clear server space and allow for the spring clean of old and redundant emails to be removed from the system.

Ideally if the software could integrate an email client, we could then have a single point of reference for all property and lettings based emails. All within the software, instead of sending from one application and replying from another which creates a break in the flow of communication, emails could be sent & received straight into the client. Communication with the customer is at the heart of any business so to have a powerful tool to facilitate this would be a superb and essential addition which I am sure would be appreciated by many.

Perhaps a simple way to bring the communication thread over to our existing email clients would be to email the original message with recipient info over to the user. (So effectively sending out 2 emails, one to the recipient and one to the sender with the ability to turn this off in settings if not needed/desired)

Kind regards,

Richard

I was just coming on here to suggest this, also I'm not sure if I'm missing something or have something set up incorrectly but when I email a tenant via the mail merger LLV system the tenant will reply and it comes to my personal email account but there is no trace of it within LLV?

I'm hoping I'm doing something wrong, if not then its a fundamental fault as it still means I'm working off two platforms to mange tenants. Is there any way to see the tenants responses in LLV (without me having to save and upload as its too time consuming).

Kind Regards

Natalie

Hello Natalie

As things stand, the process works like this:

A user sends an email out from Landlord Vision

The email appears to come from Landlord Vision, but the Reply To address is the user's email address.  The conversation will continue in your inbox.  Landlord Vision does not currently receive emails

It will be interesting to see feedback on this topic as to whether people prefer it this way or they would rather have all of the email discussions held within Landlord Vision

Kind regards

Roy

Hi Roy

Thanks for the quick response. For me personally with over 100 tenants in place and half of those are HMO's it would be so much easier for me to keep on top of communication all in one platform. For example the message template function for me with the HMO tenants is fab, but it would be much better to see there responses within that area too. I also agree that it would be beneficial to be able to delete messages, as I already have so many messages across our profiles. I'm assuming these massages will be using up storage space too??

Thanks Again Roy

Natalie

I cannot find the email sent folder? Is there one?

Either LV should have a complete email system with inbox, outbox, drafts, sent items etc

Or you should allow accounts to set up the DNS / CNAME to allow our Gmail/Outlook etc to be the default and only client but still allowing LV to send emails (just from our email address and appearing in our regular email sent items).

Righ now we have emails being sent from one system with no way to see what has been sent. And no way to continue a thread. This is a real shame and LV is otherwise excellent at appreciating the need for consistency and traceability.

Thanks

Just found Sent folder. And where to compose. May I suggest you change the navigation from "Mail Merge" to Email
