Multiple ownership of properties in one portfolio

Kirsty Hewitt 2 years ago updated by Landlord Vision Admin 2 years ago 2

Is it possible to split ownership of properties which are in the same portfolio?> I have several properties which use a single bank account so they are in one portfolio. However, some are owned by more than one person and I would like to be able to produce a report showing the split at the end of the year for tax purposes. Is it possible to do this? I can't see any option to assign ownership of the properties, it just says the ownership is the same as the portfolio ownership?

Apologies, I have just found where to add landlords and assign ownership. Will I be able to generate reports separated by landlord for the tax return, or can you just do a report for the whole portfolio?

Hello

The purpose of the ownership percentages section is to run a tax report for each individual owner based on how much of the portfolio or individual properties they own.  Simply select the landlord from the Owner drop down box on the Income Tax Report and the software will divide up the incomes and expenses accordingly

For the benefit of anyone else reading this post, you can add landlords in Portfolios > Edit Portfolio > Portfolio Ownership

Kind regards
