Tenant Deposits Overview

So you've created a tenancy and now you need to record the deposit. And at some point you'll need to record the return of that deposit, or some of it. And you no doubt used some sort of deposit protection scheme as well. This guide will help you to account for all of those in Landlord Vision.

Paying deposits at the start of a tenancy

• Paid by the Tenant to the Landlord
• Paid by the Tenant to the Landlord who then passed it onto a Deposit Scheme
