Tenant Reports

Landlord Vision contains a number of reports to help you to better manage your tenants.  Here is a round up of what they all do and how you can get the best out of them.  Remember, you can export all of the reports to PDF (digital print), CSV (import to another package), or xlsx (spreadsheet).

Deposits

This report shows you an overview of all of your deposits: when they were paid; with whom; when they were secured and when they were returned.

Use Tenant Manager > Tenancies > Click on a tenant > Deposit Scheme tab to update this report.

Overdue Rents & Charges

This report gives you a list of every unpaid invoice, including charge invoices.  It allows you to filter by payer and by property so you can see where all of your arrears are.  Update any of these places to remove items off this list:

  • Tenant Manager > Payment Schedule > Select Payer
  • Tenant Manager > Invoices > Add Payment
  • Tenant Manager > Payments > Add Payment

Payment History

View the payment history of any tenancy, including the tenant and any LHA authority.  You can even view by property so you can see how your HMOs are performing.  Again, add payments to these places to see them on this report:

  • Tenant Manager > Invoices > Add Payment
  • Tenant Manager > Payments > Add Payment

Statement of Account

This report shows you everything your tenant was due to pay and when they paid it (if they paid it).  You can print this out and send it to your tenant so they can see where they are up to with their rent.  Again, this uses the payment data to update itself.

Tenant Journal

A complete list of all your contacts with your tenants.  Filter by tenant and print off if you need to.  You can update this through either of these places:

  • Tenant Manager > Tenants > Click on the tenant > Tenant Journal tab
  • Tenant Manager > Tenancies > Click on the tenancy > Tenant Journal tab

Tenant List

A complete list of every tenant loaded into the system, both current and former, along with where they live and other contact information.  You can update this information in Contacts or under Tenant Manager > Tenants > Click on the tenant.

Upcoming Rents

Use this to see what rents you have coming in over the next few days to give yourself an idea of what you should be expecting.  This information comes from Tenant Manager > Tenancies > Click on the tenancy > Edit Tenancy > Scroll down to Payments.

Welcome Pack

Produce a single page report for your tenant detailing all the information that they need to know that isn't otherwise on their tenancy agreement, for example, things like the locations of emergency stops and what days the bins are emptied.  This report pulls from the following locations:

  • Contacts
  • Property Manager > Properties > Click on the property > Main Property Details > Edit Property
  • Tenant Manager > Tenancies > Click on the tenancy > Edit Tenancy
  • Property Manager > Properties > Click on the property > Property Essentials
  • Property Manager > Properties > Click on the property > Safety Certificates and Insurances
At the moment it is not possible to add attachments to the Welcome Pack, or any other information than what has been outlined above.
