Tenant Deposits Overview
So you've created a tenancy and now you need to record the deposit. And at some point you'll need to record the return of that deposit, or some of it. And you no doubt used some sort of deposit protection scheme as well. This guide will help you to account for all of those in Landlord Vision.

Paying deposits at the start of a tenancy
- Paid by the Tenant to the Landlord
- Paid by the Tenant to the Landlord who then passed it onto a Deposit Scheme
- Paid by the Tenant to the Letting Agent who then passed it on to the Landlord
- Paid by the Tenant to the Letting Agent who then passed it on to the Landlord who in turn gave it to the Deposit Scheme
- Paid by the Tenant to the Letting Agent who sent it to the Deposit Scheme directly
