It will be really time saving if you add following three functions,

1) copy journal

2) Add repeating journal something similar to "Add repeating expenses" functionality

3) Import/Export journal.

This would save so much time.

It would really come in handy when you know an address but can’t remember in which portfolio or if you remember a supplier, name, amount or perhaps anything else just like a typical search bar does.

Simon Hobson, I reviled it last week and had the same reaction as you. This is so basic accounting.

I have asked for this a while ago and was told that they'll be looking into it. I wonder of they ever did.

This would save us a massive amount of time.
